Role & Responsibility

 

·         Conduct Safety Induction for new joined employees.

·         To supervise the Work permits procedure of the plant.

·         To carry out plant safety inspection in order to observe the physical condition of work practices and procedures followed by workers and to render advice on measures to be adopted for removing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by workers and follow the safety procedures for performing all the jobs inside the plant premises.

·         To organize / participate in safety committee meeting & identify the areas of development and implement the development process inside the plant.

·         Liaising with Govt. Official of DISH offices/GPCB and DPMC.

·         Record keeping of occupational health safety environment per legal requirements.

·         To prepare & submit  the pollution control board returns(monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly)

·         To prepare & submit the report against raised queries by GPCB, Dish office and Certifying Heath Surgeon during visit.  

·         Maintain the First Aid Box as per Factory act 1948.

·         To ensure that all the firefighting equipment’s are ready to use.

·         To ensure prompt reporting to Management through MIS reports for any HSE developments or deviations.

·         To advice the concerned departments in planning and organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries.  

·         To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or purpose to be taken to prevent personal injuries.

·         To advice the purchasing of a stores departments in ensuring high quality and availability of personal protective equipment’s.

·         To advice on matters relating to carry out safety inspection.

·         To render advice on matters related to reporting and investigation of industrial accidents and diseases.

·         To investigate cases of accidents/ near misses.

·         To frame association with the concerned departments for campaigns, competitions, contest and other activities which will develop to maintain the interest of the workers in establishing and maintaining safe conditions of work and procedure.

·         Design and contract either independently or in collaboration with the training department suitable educational programs for the prevention of personal injuries.

·         Waste Management system.

·         Chemical Management system.

·         BS OHSAS 18001:2007 & EMS 14001:2015 implementation.

·         IKEA, I-way Standard implementation at the site for HSE department.

·         IWAY Audits.
